On Saturdays and Sundays at the Marina Green, on the path between The Palace of Fine Arts and Fort Mason, you will find our iconic 1970s VW ice cream bus, bumping soulful tunes and sharing our craft ice cream with the northern tip of the city. It is here where you can enjoy a rotational mix of  our flavors overlooking the small yacht harbor, Alcatraz, the Marin Headlands, and the spectacular Golden Gate Bridge.

The VW ice cream bus, affectionately known as "The Cream Machine," simultaneously stands out with its crisp two tone cherry red and white, while also seamlessly fitting into the iconic landscape in which it is nestled.

The quintessential 1970s era VW bus has deep roots in the history, narrative, and identity of San Francisco, and embodies a free spirit, and good vibes. It was for this reason, that the Volkswagon T2 was chosen as the mobile representative of San Francisco's very own Hometown Creamery.

This location is just one more stunning and noteworthy part of the San Francisco where locals and tourists alike come together to get some of the best ice cream the city has to offer.
